I swear the number of people who designated me an egg before I realized I was gender non-conforming did more to hurt my gender identity journey than anything else.

(i worked at CALSTAR in the 80s. they flew organs from the donation point to the transplant point.
i still fontdly remember the "safety around the helicopter" video i got to see that featured mr. bill being killed in multiple ways.)

if you’re in california, i highly recommend getting a policy with calstar/airmedcare heli ambulance. it costs something like $50ish per year for an entire household, and it covers flight for life.
Here's the craziest part: I know for a fact that flying a Blackhawk costs about 5-8.5k per flight hour. A life-flight helicopter costs about half that. A B-2 costs 89k per flight hour, and an F-22 costs about 56k.
A B206 doesn't cost 97k/hour.
