Rewatched first two episodes of hhs1 and made some notes. May have missed something. I hoped there would be more, but whatever

I think Alastor made a mocking ad because he was bored and tried to entertain himself I don't think Alastor genuinely forgot about Pentious, he was probably just being annoying as usual Valentino broke Vox's phone, Vox didn't have a strong reaction. Maybe it happens often? Alastor joined Vox's song to tell Vox that he doesn't care about him. Peak non-chalant behaviour (/sarc). I mean, if he only wanted to tell about his comeback, he could start his own broadcast without adressing Vox, or no one would Listen to Al if he didn't interrupt Vox? Maybe he wanted to be as scandalous as possible, but still strange for an idgafer Vaggi starts fighting immediately, it shows that she is used to being violent Charlie wrote "Not have sex before marriage" in her scenario. Does it mean she and Vaggi are wives or their sex is sinister? Angel Dust is a rather sensitive individual Sir Pentious called Angel Dust "whorebug". Maybe it's his evil persona, but still feels weird for him

CHAGGI Cherri and Pentious broke the same wall. Is this like non-contact kiss, but for fighting? Charlie being a sugar daddy (/hj) Charlie, I love you, but why did you throw your girlfriend What if Cherri is annoyed at Pentious because he stopped fighting her for several months? Emily is so excited. I think Vaggi is displeased not only because she's jealous, but because Emily and other angels are trying to convince Charlie that the place that traumatized her is good I realized that Charlie has probably never seen a koala in 200 years of her life. And other Earth animals too. I think Cherri genuinely cares about Angel Dust and wants him to feel better, but she's a broken person herself, so methods she offers are harmful. Cherri genuinely thinks that drugs are good solution for the problem. What the hell is Val's outfit

My super mega detailed notes on s1ep3. I wanted to do more detailed notes on Chaggi, but it would look like I'm himedanshi-ing out

Ep 3 takes place a week after ep 2 Pentious doesn't call Vaggi by her name Clara and Odette visit (some) customers personally? I assume that they help Carmilla with her business or potentially will rule the company if/when Carmilla retires, so it's their practice Vaggi is mad that Pentious bought Carmilla' s weapon. Does it mean she's against residents financially supporting overlords or has it something to do with Carmine's production being made of angelic steel? Sir Pentious is so dramatic. Charlie is visibly upset when Vaggi doesn't do the movement right Angel is kinda mean, but that's kinda the point Vaggi acts like an army leader, but she was a simple soldier. It could mean she got to be in the lead a few times, but what if she copies Lute's mannerisms? She seems a little unsure before speaking, so I think she doesn't have her own way of leading people Vaggi is ready to threaten residents with violence if they don't act like they're improving It may be that Husk didn't catch Angel, Angel just jumped straight into his arms Pentious was caught by everyone except Angel Dust. Maybe signs of their conflict? Niffty likes being feared Vaggi is very responsible Alastor seems a little afraid/nervous when faced with Zestial There's acid rain in hell? They don't give a fuck about you, Alastor I doubt that Velvette found Angel's head herself. I headcanon that some sinner/weka overlord found it and sold it for big money to the Vees Vees already had an attack plan, but not the one they use in s2 Love how Clara and Odette look at Carmilla in the end of "Respectless", "What the hell, mom". Odette seems to be more worried about Carmilla, while Clara cringes at her behaviour Vaggi trusted exorcists? It's interesting how Chaggi switched roles in s2 and closer to the end of s1. In ep3 Charlie is the one who tries to tell Vaggi that she shouldn't prioritize their goal over people around them and Vaggi is the one who needs to be alone for some time I think Angel Dust carrying Sir Pentious is a way to show they solved their conflict (in the start of the episode Angel was the only one who didn't carry Pentious). I wish show had more time to show their interactions (I'm a sirdust enjoyer) CARMILLA IS SO SAD DAMN IT Clara and Odette love their mom If Chaggi in s2 is role reversal to s1 Chaggi, then what S3 Chaggi will be? Sir Pentious desires praise, but feels awkward when gets it from Husk Huskerdust look at each other and smile Vaggi has something against weapons (Carmine's specifically or in general?)

Guys Vaggi's not flat are you eye-fucking or what Husk is angry. I get him though, I would be too Vaggi doesn't confirm that angels are liars Alastor is so annoying I can't I wanted to say "Beat him up, Charlie", but it would mean she's betraying her ideals so I don't really want it for her. I'd rather say "Alastor stop being so awful" I don't think that Charlie not wanting to face her people after her failure is people pleasing, it probably comes from her pride. She wants to feel like a good person and needs outer confirmation from people who she thinks can be trusted with evaluating her. If Charlie was a people pleaser she would think something like "I've let them down, now they're going to hate me", but she thinks "I'm not better than hell's worst overlords" aka about not proving her own vision of herself. Alastor you're such an asshole ughhhhh I've seen people critisizing the writing for Vaggi no knowing that exorcists could be hurt, despite being hurt as an exorcist, but it's quite easy to guess that in context they're talking about sinners hurting exorcists specifically and Vaggi was hurt by Lute aka another exorcist. Vaggi's ribbon can look like demon horns. I hope we get more examples of something like that in future I mean, Yeah, it's sometimes annoying to hear a person complaining about their relationships, but Alastor very often annoys people on purpose, so I can't really feel bad for him, even as an aromantic person, sorry Charlie's eyes in this episode are really big for some reason It seems like exterminations were there long enough for Carmilla to build a company that sells angelic steel I love how Rosie doesn't react to Charlie saying that her partner is female I have some radiorose thoughts, but I can't make a take ehhh Charlie's movements is "Ready for this" remind me of Vox's in "Vox Populi", but I think it's a parallels rather than him copying her (How could he learn about it anyway?) Chaggi!

Probably will be short since I've seen a lot of meta on this episode Angel has no shame in showing off his body, but has troubles with showing actual vulnerability I think Sir Pentious watches everyone at night because he's still worried that someone will kill him One of the most interesting things about Husk is that he's good in understanding people and is empathetic, but he's also harsh and doesn't try to make his message digestible. I think he understands Alastor too, even though they hate each other I feel like Vaggi reminding Charlie that she's the princess of Hell might come from respect for hierarchy she learned in Heaven, but I can't make any substantial take, yet Travis is anxious near Valentino, it seems like he's afraid to make him snap Valentino is swaying his hips when walking sometimes. He's drawn sort of more bug-like in s1 than s2. Does it mean something? Is Valentino afraid to make Charlie mad? I mean, he doesn't know her as a person and I don't think that many people would take the risk of making the third most powerful being in Hell mad Angel Dust cares about Charlie enough to say something about her in front of Valentino I don't think that Charlie not hurting Valentino is showing that she doesn't care about Angel. She is a pacifist + doesn't want Angel to hate her. Charlie knows that forcing things to go faster than needed is not good. She will make this mistake in s2, but it's explained by her emotional state I believe I've said it somewhere, but one of the reasons Angel is so "bratty" may be that he doesn't want to be used, but can't avoid because of Valentino, so he sees hotel as a space where he can be inconvinient. I like to think that in some scenes Husk looks uncomfortable with Angel Dust flirting not because he's uncomfortable with flirting, but because he knows that it's Angel's defense mechanism. I don't think that "Loser, Baby" is victim blaming or an attempt to make Angel's pain unimportant. I see it more as "A lot of people feel same as you, so you shouldn't isolate yourself from them and hide, they'll understand you, I understand you" Husk never grabs Angel by force during their dance, he always waits for him to make the move CHARLIEDUST CHAGGI UGHH Husk's pupils are so wide Damn this is longer than intended

In one of russian dubs Charlie said that Lucifer allowed exterminations. So, there was a contract or something? I feel like Lucifer is afraid of being sincere with his daughter at this point Events of this ep might be 5 months from the pilot (Explains why Charlie is worried more than in first episodes) I think Charlie never invited Lucifer before because she thought he's doing something important and Lucifer never asked for it because he's too prideful The divorce might've hurt Lucifer's ego a lot. Like, even a woman who you inspired to rebel against the system 10000 years ago decided to leave. Must be awful for someone so prideful How high is Niffty's heat tolerance Alastor wipes his hand after the handshake lmao. P.S: he didn't even touch his hand I think Alastor is rude with Luci because he knows that Charlie will defend him Angel Dust is teasing Sir Pentious? (sirdust dreams) I love "hell's greatest dad", I wish my brain didn't connect it with bad fandom experiences I think Alastor sings this song because he wants to manipulate Charlie further, not because he really cares about her in this way In the song it seems like Charlie is way more comfortable with Alastor than with Lucifer Alastor pushed Lucifer with his hips Niffty is smiling at Mimzy. I suppose she either liked her show or is excited. Mimzy is so charming Honestly I don't really see Alastor as a part of this "found family". He interacts with them, but not enough to even consider then friends. I feel like Mimzy's view of Alastor is somewhat idolized. It seems like Alastor is somewhat ashamed of being with the hotel (Nobody should know) Sir Pentious saved Niffty. Man, he's such a sweatheart In the clip it shows Lilith taking Charlie away from Lucifer. Could it mean that Lilith finds Lucifer's worldview harmful for their daughter? My theory is that Lilith might've wanted to raise her daughter to be a stern woman, who people wouldn't be able to hurt, so she tried to avoid Lucifer becoming her role model. Lucifer and Charlie were flying under a circus' roof and in s2ep6 Charlie builds a similar construction with blankets.

Notes on s1ep8 (Try not to make everything about Vox challenge)

#HazbinHotel #camsnotes
Honestly Vox hating Alastor is more interesting to me than Vox loving/missing Alastor. Also I don't like "Hate can't be that obsessibe" because it can I thought Niffty would stab Vaggi haha I don't think that Vox's everyday routine is watching everyone. I mean, an angel attack on Princess' hotel is a big event, why not watch it if you're someone like Vox? CherriDust yay Cherri is sceptical Charlie looking at Cherrisnake I love the way Pentious' blush looks Charlie is so scrawny Exorcists just live in regular heaven? I mean, like regular heaven people? If not, then why would any of them need money? I still don't think that Adam really cares about exorcists I love how Val and Vel are bored I love Lute's roar I think that Alastor was planning to kill off Adam and then run away Why Velvette is so worried I hc that Sir Pentious never calls Vaggi by her name, because he thinks that it's a short version of her real one and wants to sound as respectful as possible using what he thinks is full name I think Lute tries to harm Vaggi first because she prioritizes killing her over killing Charlie Lute, the desperate woman you are Lute and Vaggi are kinda like Ellie Driver and Beatrix Kiddo Vox's reaction to "I'll fuck you" is peak Why is a straight white man making me kinda gaaaaay Vaggi is smiling I think Adam is smiling at seeing Lute because to him it's not so sad to die when you know someone will miss you I don't think Vox was watching the whole thing just for entertainment. It's more like entertainment is a bonus. He probably gives directions on what to write in articles (in s2 we learnt that Tom and Katie interact with him personally) I honestly don't get people who say that Charlie is irresponsible. Yes, she was afraid to speak to hotel residents in ep7, but in the same day she took responsibility for protecting people from a very powerful army. I think she's quite responsible. She always defaults to "What could I do?" Niffty is so cute I always thought Vox just stabbed Alastor's picture, but apparently he threw it? I don't know why, but it fascinates me My favourite s1 Alastor moment
