"That's the reason why my constituents, including even my dad, watch the channel," she said. And there was a surprise guest who made an appearance at GB News's Celebrate Britain event. AJ Pritchard, who starred as one of the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing between 2016 and 2019, arrived early in the evening. ### ### ### Having quick-stepped his way from the BBC to The People's Channel, the former Strictly star proved there's more than one way to switch partners. Sadly, no paso doble materialised, though Labour MPs may have been hoping he could teach them some fancy footwork to sidestep Reform. Still, with AJ in the room, GB News's guest list was scoring a perfect ten. Speaking at a fringe event, the wannabe London Mayor opened by addressing why she had lost her voice. “I was partying last night,” Ms Butler said. The Brent East MP had been hosting her ninth annual Jamaica party, a fan-favourite among Labour members. ### ### It would seem Mr Burnham’s second incarnation of “Cool Britannia” is sweeping up support from Labour members. GB News understands Labour has sold out of its Oasis-themed “Andy” mugs. The Prime Minister will undoubtedly make a few more references about how the economy is going to be “supersonic” under Labour and set out his social care “masterplan”. The big difference, however, is that when New Labour arrived in 1997, it inherited the public finances in relatively sound shape. This time, with rather less money in the pot, Labour might need to think about nationalising Oasis ahead of their second comeback tour. ### ### Mr Burnham's main message feels a bit closer to home for some at GB News than many might realise. "Hope" is the word in town, with posters across the ACC carrying the perhaps somewhat vague slogan. Posing alongside a "Hope Again" billboard, Chopper quipped: "Hope has arrived at the Labour Party Conference. When GB News asked the Prime Minister whether hope is good enough, Mr Burnham replied: "It's a good place to start." ### ### However, anxieties are running high ahead of Mr Burnham's first conference speech as Labour leader. A bombshell YouGov poll revealed Reform UK is back on top, jumping four points despite gleeful mutterings about Nigel Farage's bubble bursting. While the new Prime Minister has certainly brought a spring to Labour's step in Liverpool, nervous MPs are warning colleagues against writing off Reform UK just yet.
