Happy 51st Birthday Cara Dillon. #HappyBirthdayCaraDillon #CaraDillon #Birthday

My final selection from Hill Of Thieves is Fil, Fil a Run O.
This song is almost 300 years old and is a plea for a Protestant priest to return to the Catholic faith. A song that delves into the religious divides that have plagued Ireland.

My penultimate selection from Hill Of Thieves is the track P Stands For Paddy (Lament For Johnny).
This is another traditional song from the album and has a wonderful Gaelic feel to it with some superb musicianship from Sam Lakeman.

My second selection from Hill Of Thieves is a rendition of the traditional folk song, The Parting Glass.
This quietly beautiful recording by Cara Dillon is one of the best versions of this classic Scottish folk song I have heard.
