At least 240,000 home care workers and consumers have fled CDPAP since PPL’s takeover, and PPL has been accused of ‘egregious fiscal and operational failures’ in six other states. Basic public reporting requirements are not just reasonable, they’re necessary for the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers who rely on CDPAP.
Especially as we face federal cuts to Medicaid, New Yorkers are counting on you to ensure we are spending our taxpayer dollars on care, not private equity profit.
