Making a quick research sortie to Paris in a heatwave, as you do after superb pre-Eurostar seafood linguine at Carluccios. To my surprise, all A B & C zone EES kiosks *still* out of use. No fingerprinting OR stamping in operation. Check-in remarkably fast, no queues to speak of 👍

By contrast, another friend went into a Carluccios with their partner and asked for a quiet table in a corner to breastfeed their baby. The male waiter found them a table & then brought her a free slice of cake and glass of water as well as their coffee. “She’s working hard. She needs it.”

They’re planning to relaunch Carluccios, which is fascinating to me because as a brand, I don’t think “remember how good that place was before it was ruined by a succession of bad owners?” is what I would start with.

Nice days so far…went to the tip, then bike shopping for sons birthday and finished off with a nice lasagne from carluccios, last job is go to the doctors for a blood test 🙄

The District Line chaos today took me past this Carluccios where I had lunch with my dad for the last time. He enjoyed my cheekiness of ordering a red wine at midday and ordered one himself. We went to the V and A and then said goodbye at South Ken station.

Good day yesterday. Dale had training and absolutely smashed his agility course. 🥳 Celebrated with an afternoon in #Chester. Incredible #Burrata 🤌 at #Carluccios and even came back with some great #vinyl.

Growing up there were so many family trips to Wagamama, Pizza Express, Carluccios, Yo Sushi etc

Sorry can’t agree about panettone! We splash out on Carluccios ones, has a nice crunchy top, (literally just ordered this years), v yummy either with or without marmalade (our Anglo-Italian twist!)
