Sigur Rós did a very special performance with the Noordpool Orchestra @CarréAmsterdam tonight. It worked beautifully for two full hours. Very different from when I saw them at Paradiso ages ago, but then I guess that was the point. Jonsi’s voice was still very powerful #sigurros #noordpoolorkest

Excellent performance from Tori Amos @CarreAmsterdam, my first one! Knew only 2 songs but the others were pretty entertaining and beautiful. Very good rhythm section and (3!) backing singers, great lyrics, attractive visuals

Oh #bobthedragqueen thank you for making Amsterdam a queenier, happier place on a rainy Tuesday night! #carreamsterdam #katebutch

First time I saw Gavin Friday tonight and he did a two-hour show @CarréAmsterdam (sadly rather empty). Played a few Virgin Prunes songs and some older solo work but the emphasis was on his disco extravaganza (with cello and clarinet tho!). Not sure why we needed Carré for that tbh. Nice Brel cover!

Isaac Levi was the support act for Tori Amos @CarreAmsterdam. Not bad, but not my cuppa tea either. Sad singer-songwriter, nice British accent, got the crowd to sing along

Het decor is in elk geval al fantastisch =)
