Bonus incidental chudwatch: a Hamilton official movie tie-in with the Nolan Odyssey. Made out of bronze. You know, just like the watches they wore back then. The sword and shield thing is so tacky. The caseback is even worse. One for the Greek statue avi chud. 4/10

If your car in the 1940s-1950s didn’t have an inbuilt clock, you could get the Auto-Watch from Westclox of Canada, having a big magnet glued to the the caseback (back when dashboards were made of steel). Very inexpensive but reliable watch. The green “luminous” is fake/simulated. Dial is cheap paper

I especially like the back side of this Yema X Alain Silberstein wristwatch. While I'm far from a fish expert, those look like Japanese koi.

I have both the Watchdives titanium version with steel mesh and the Omega version. Really enjoyable watches.
Biggest differences are domed sapphire vs top hat and feel of the caseback.
The WD007 is going spare, but shipping and tax may not be worthwhile.

I did it. I finished this beautiful Seiko Sportsmatic. Replaced the crystal and the caseback gasket. Fully serviced. After and before photos. This one has a really cool calendar function I'll show in a sec.

it, I wrote her back. She had about six more. All unused old stock with tags. They must not have needed them for Chernobyl. I bought the lot of them and gave them away to watch nerd friends in various places. Here is the CCCP and serial number stamp (seen better from the inside caseback after open)
