Went for some needed alone time on Saturday and came across a tree covered in moss and interesting fungi.

It's one of several locations across the city where Mary Queen of Scots supposedly watched as her troops lost the Battle of Langside on the 13th of May 1568, leading to her fleeing to England, and setting in motion the events which lead to her execution in 1587.
