The probability distribution function of standard Cauchy. Because its expected value has to be 0. Just look at it. I know it isn't but come on. It *looks* normal but this function is an abomination.

i just found out that a tutorial i wrote which showed how intuitively the student t distribution bridges the gap between the normal and the cauchy -- but tried to stress that this is practically true and not literally true -- was wrong. it is literally true. the t with 1 dof is the cauchy.
