Seems like an attempt to imitate the witty placemaking of Claude Cormier and CCXA. The difference is that CCXA know what they are doing re space planning, construction details, planting. This park, by O2, fails on all those measures.

A new plan for the Hearn Generating Station in Toronto's Port Lands. Still conceptual, it would add res towers above and around the building while adding cultural uses and retail within. SVN, Partisans, ERA, CCXA on landscape.

From the Port Lands, another great view of Toronto’s skyline is from Leslie Lookout Park, designed by Montreal’s CCxA. You can even make a day of it by going to the Martin Goodman Trail which is nearby.
