Actually, I have a lot of thoughts on Cedric and The Exarch. The first and foremost being: Cedric is not who G'raha expected to be the warrior of light. For ARR - Early STB, the world renowned warrior of light, was actually Cedric's younger (teenaged) brother, Covva.

When Cedric first meets the crystal exarch, he is immediately pissed off. His younger brother was comatose because of this man, his younger brother is now off who knows where in a completely new and different world and cedric is pissed. He does not like the exarch at all.
