#Ceecon is dedicated to the study of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. On 8 and 9 October 2026, @dgoberlin.bsky.social, the @osteuropainstitut.bsky.social at Freie Universität Berlin and @zois.bsky.social will jointly host the event.

Robert Kindler from the Osteuropa-Institut is also part of #ceecon24. He is a historian by training but will participate in the section on "War Effects on Food Systems and the Environment" as well. This illustrates the interdisciplinary orientation of #ceecon
