Join us for a look at a deluxe ocean view stateroom aboard the Celebrity Reflection! We stayed in cabin 6298, a category 2C stateroom located on deck 6. This is an obstructed view room, and you will see that there is a deck below you that blocks you from looking directly down below at the ocean. Join us for a look at our travel day from DFW to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and embarkation day on Celebrity Reflection! We were joined by Daniel from @WereAllChefs and we took him to experience some classic Floridan cuisine (Publix subs lol) and we spent the day Dania beach to have lunch, hang out, and watch the ships leave port. The night was spent at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to check out the casino and the free light show on the guitar. The next day was embarkation day! This is our first time trying a different cruise line after about 10 Royal Caribbean cruises, and we will share all of our thoughts on the differences and if we enjoyed it. We stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port in Dania Beach, Fl for the night before our Celebrity Reflection cruise. This hotel was close to both the FLL Airport and Port Everglades. The Hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport. To use this service you'll have to call the hotel after you grab your bags from baggage claim and they'll tell you where to meet the shuttle. The hotel also offers a Cruise Port Shuttle for $20 per person. They have several time slots available for the shuttle and they start at 10am. To use this service all you have to do is inform the front desk and they'll add you to the list. We paid $19 to Uber from the hotel to the Port Everglades cruise port We paid $150 after taxes and fees for 1 night at this hotel in May 2024.
