of soft, bio-based materials, the researchers were able to produce a suitable ink based on cellulose. The fungal cells can even use the cellulose as a nutrient and thus help to break down the battery after use. However, their preferred nutrient source is simple sugars, which are added to the battery

Lyocell and tencel are more sustainable cellulose based fibers that behave similarly to rayon (they are light and breathable) so if you really like the idea of something that started as bamboo and want it to be more eco-friendly look for bamboo lyocell.

A newspaper is a cellulose-based data aggregator, curating notable occurrences and disseminating them typographically. The New York Times exemplifies this genre though its optimization of informational density, filtered through subjective thresholds of print-worthiness.
President Trump has opened the throttle on blowing through apparent legal limits, often with no clear public explanation for how their actions could be consistent with the rule of law. Here are some examples of the administration’s defiance of statutes. nyti.ms/4aKnKRP

Literal "bookworms" can be larvae or adults of a number of species of beetle, roach or moth.

They could be interested in the binding, the cover, or the pages themselves (cellulose).

Storage & archiving practices seek to reduce the damage that these enthusiastic 'bibliophages' cause.
Preservation Tip: Dealing With Insect Damage - Cincinnati Museum Center
Insects are attracted to materials containing cellulose. Paper-based collections contain cellulose and need to be protected from insect attack.
