#ch32fun
First time using timer-triggered chained DMAs, where one DMA channel writes into the descriptors of another DMA channel to change what the other DMA is doing. This is just a 8x9 matrix array in a 6x12 configuration on a ch32v003, with #ch32fun github.com/cnlohr/cnhar...

YAY! apparently the recent updates to CH32fun make it now work on my hardware!

I can do CH32!

I can't wait to get started writing this firmware. #ch32fun #risc_v

yay I have another working ch32 board. This should be a good replace for the pro mini. sadly the ch32fun version I have wont do the ch32v006 (yet)

So glad this finally landed in ch32fun. 100% open, plain and vanilla. Thanks for all the effort, Montemonte.

The code it meant to be compiled and run from /ch32fun/examples/ directory, so yea, ch32fun is a dependency.

The PS2 is bit-banged on 2 pins, the clock and data lines of the PS2 have 4.7k pullup resistors to 3.3V, with the mouse being powered by 5V.

This is running on a SOIC8 ch32v003J4M6

here is the code for this bot so far.
sorry, it depends on the ch32fun library in a way I have not succesfully untangled yet.

It seems my old WCH-LinkE USB programmer and #CH32V003 dev board vanished without a trace so I had to buy a new one. I modified the I²C OLED demo from the ch32fun repo of @cnlohr.bsky.social to show the #RISCV logo. 10¢ RISC V microcontroller FTW.

This couldn't have been a better commit number to switch from ch32v003fun to #ch32fun. Glad to be able to help serve the community surrounding everyone's favorite line of #RISCV microcontrollers. Thank you to all the contributors for getting this project to go the distance.

Turn a $0.10 CH32V003 MCU into a tiny PLD. Write logic in Verilog, (Verilator + @cnlohr.bsky.social 's ch32fun) lowers it to bare-metal C that bit-bangs GPIO. Slower than a real gate (0.6µs delay) but already in your drawer & can solder it & and it is 5V. github.com/wavedrom/cherepanov

There are smaller and cheaper ones that are still RISC-V, not some weirdo instruction set, and with decent peripherals. Look at CH32V for options from double core w/ USB3 down to single core and tens of KB of RAM for about $0.10. Good stuff!

And now I'm off implementing the i2c-puppet API on the #ch32v003. There isn't a lot of documentation on how to do things so I needed to read cnlohr's source code for #ch32fun and cross-check it with the #WCH reference manual for the microcontroller to figure out how to do things. #riscv #handheld

do you use it with the ch32fun HAL?

At the same time helped revamp the USBD library of ch32fun! Now it's smaller and 1:1 compatible with the USBFS library, and also supports HID events.

Now USB can be nicely used on ch32v203s without a USBFS PHY.

Turning a CH32V003 microcontroller into a tiny monochrome video BASIC machine
V003 Home Computer turns a CH32V003 microcontroller into a tiny monochrome PAL text machine with a built-in line-numbered BASIC interpreter. Video is generated directly by the MCU, and keyboard input can be controlled with the ch32fun single-wire monitor. Using an external crystal oscillator and the PLL gives the best video quality. The internal RC oscillator of the […]

DAPLink (CMSIS-DAP) V1 ported to the CH32V003 microcontroller
The ultra-low cost WCH CH32V003 RISC-V microcontroller is quite attractive to designers of hardware products. BogdanTheGeek on GitHub has posted a fork of DAPLink, DAPLink (CMSIS-DAP) V1 ported to CH32V003 using ch32fun and rv003usb for USB support. It is noted that only SWD is supported. DAPLink (CMSIS-DAP) in general is an open-source firmware project from Arm that acts […]
