Some furniture from the Deco period doesn't seem to feature comfort as a high priority but this week's #ChairsOnTuesday post is a gorgeous mix of concentric circles, chrome and veneer and looks extremely comfortable:

There's a streamline, machine-age influence running through this #ChairsOnTuesday finished in a salmon pink velour with great detailing. Definitely NOT one for eating chocolate in!

This French #ChairsOnTuesday masterpiece dates from the early 1920s. The symmetrical, linear form and circular 'bucket' shape is an excellent example of subtle Egyptian Revival popular in the decorative arts and furniture seen prior to and during the decade:
