Yeah but towards the end it (needlessly) introduces Tenshinhan and Chaozu early to spark an early rivalry with Goku, and the final episode of it is literally about Goku leaving for Papaya Island where the tournament is being held.

im a subs watcher of dragon ball (didnt get to dbz) so im like partially adamant on the japanese names but i go with the western ones too so i'll call tien "tenshinhan" and chiaotzu "chaozu" but i'll also go with "krillin" bc its what im used to instead of "kuririn"

I dunno about everybody, but it's genuinely stupid Tenshinhan never learned it. He stayed the longest of Kaio's Planet (alongside Chaozu) and he already knows the Kikoho and the Mafuba. Let him corner the market on moves that can kill you.
