Yup. Married to a Southern Thai for now over 22 years. Still can’t handle the Som Thai from the street joint in Chandee (amphoe Chawang, Nakhon Si Thammarat province) where my wife family comes from. Have to ask it “mai phêt” (non spicy) or I’ll pay for it the next day.
