we never had a serial abuser in my school thankfully (though a couple of dodgy 'teacher marries ex-student when they're 19' cases) but a few kids I knew were at Chethams where there were numerous abusers working at the time, it turned out.

Great to see KNDS's contribution to European security, as well as speaking to Siemens, BASF, Bilfinger & other firms in the region.

Impressed by the talent at GM Digital Security Hub!

Another highlight: Chethams Library's desk where Marx & Engels wrote the Communist Manifesto.

I visited Chethams in 2018. Marx and Engels used to meet there to research what became the Manifesto. You can sit at the desk they hung out at and read fascimilies of the texts they checked out. One of the oldest libraries opened to the public. Fascinating place

The birthplace of Marxism. This is the place in Chethams Library where Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, formulated the theories that would form the basis of Marxism. This is in Chethams Library, there are thousands and thousands of books. What a fabulous bit of history living in plain sight.

As it's the 1st (or 3rd) Saturday of the month, I popped over to have a look around Clayton Hall in Manchester, the former home of a certain Humphrey Chetham.

Obviously, I plugged Chethams Library while I was there... 😉
