Had a great experience rolling in Chewbacchus last night! The crowds were so fun and hyped to see us! I saw lots of library cards and apps on phones and multiple times people started chants "LIB-RAR-Y! LIB-RAR-Y!" 📚 #skybrarians #chewbacchus2025
Me posing in a walrus onesie with the tricycle I rode in the parade, the trike's wheels have lights around the edges Selfie in a walrus costume with tusks that are as big as my face, in the background you can see a sign that reads "SHOW ME YOUR LIBRARY CARD"

Keep calm and Carrie on

“You bring your kids to Mardi Gras?!” The enraptured joy of the season on the face of a four year old. Walking crew dressed up as Leia from Star Wars. Sign reads “Keep calm and Carrie on” Walking krewe representing public libraries of New Orleans. Led by a man walking in a pink unicorn onesie Beaver (or walrus?) on an LED-adorned bicycle in the forefront of other walking krewe members. Sign reads “Show me your library card.”

Du sagst es, #Chewbacchus2025-Parade. So richtig in der Stimmung waren wir gestern nicht, aber trotzdem schön, dass es euch gibt.
Bunter Karnevalszug, auf einem Traktorreifen steht „Rough Year“
