This cycleway is narrow so a sign reads "Racer te gast" meaning those on fast road bikes are guests and should be considerate to any slower cyclists

Heads up #chilft riders: extensive tree damage along the lakefront near McCormick Place and also south of Promontory Point down to South Shore. Watch for whole trees, limbs and debris on the trail and at least one downed light pole partially across the trail.
