Raine is also Amaranth's childhood friend — and ex. They were kind of doomed from the start, yet after all this time, he's still kept that braid...

⟡ Sai and Amaranth are Flan's OCs!

Raine sits casually at a bar with his legs crossed and his arms resting on the counter. Their hair is tied in a half ponytail, and they sport a leather jacket with spikes and ripped jeans. Amaranth, who also wears a side braid while in suspenders, nervously points out Raine from afar to Sai while sweating buckets. ".......... that's him," he mumbles lowly. Sai — wearing circle glasses and a hoodie — nearly chokes in response, unbelieving of what he's seeing. Comic Panel 2 Sai points at Raine incredulously to Amaranth with a pathetic look on his face: "You fumbled THAT–?!?!" Amaranth shushes him: "SHUT UP I get it, alright?? Don't rub it in 💦"

An incisive law student living in his spreadsheets.

Astute, disciplined, scrutinous; they ignite in the presence of a good debate. Loves alt-rock, cramming their planner, and hitting the gym with Vera.

A waist-up doodle of my OC, Raine ( he/they ), with a neutral expression. He has icy blue eyes and black hair tied in a half ponytail. The left side of his head is shaved, while the right side sports a small braid. They wear a collared white dress top, buckled choker, and multiple piercings: one on his left brow, and three helixes + one lobe on his left ear. His name is written on the right of the image with a few raindrops. A waist-up of Raine in a boxing stance. This time, his hair is tied up in one whole ponytail instead of half. His side braid remains. Their fists are wrapped, and they box while shirtless, revealing a toned build and top surgery scars. A bust-up of Raine seemingly at university, exasperated. Now, his hair is tied in a loose bun. His side braid remains. They wear rectangular glasses and a sweater while holding a cup of coffee. Frustrated, he says: "Can you please keep it down?? It's 7am for god's sake..."

That's what things look like on Chiisa's side! They're connected with all my OCs through academia in some way 🤓

Bonus: Chiisa's Circle ( AKA: Chiisa is still warming up to the idea of "friends" ) Each of Chiisa's friends are introduced with a simple doodle of their heads. Miles (any) "Chiisa's research mentor and coffee connoisseur. He's the reason why they study astronomy." Jun (they/them) "A silver-tongued mathematician who knows more than they let on. Like how they seem to know Miles." Vera (she/her) "The stationery shop clerk with an older-sisterly charm. Involved in too many things to get away from coding." Raine (he/they) "An incisive law student living in his spreadsheets. Amaranth's childhood friend... and ex."
