Cinépolis Distribución has revealed the first official trailer for a film titled Overboard, a peculiar comedy directed by Mexican actor / filmmaker Gael García Bernal who also stars in it. The original Spanish title of the film is Hombre al agua (or Man Overboard) and it's Bernal's first film he has directed since making Chicuarotes in 2019 (which had really bad reviews). This time he's got another original story to tell about a wealthy man controlling manipulating people's lives. "What would you do if your perfect life turned out to be a trap?" Overboard follows Camilo, a lifeguard who arrives in Mexico believing he's found a new opportunity, only to discover that it's all part of a much darker plan. After rescuing a Mexican business plan and marrying his daughter, he discover it is all a trap to use him. "A film by Gael García Bernal that blends humor, suspense, and a story you won't want to miss." Also starring Esmeralda Pimentel, Débora Nascimento, Natalia Oreiro, Anna Díaz, Ezequiel Díaz, Manuel García Rulfo, Jorge Salinas, and Cuban popstar Ricky Martin.
