Soba, Buckwheat Noodles with Tempura
The tempuras are mixed vegetables and cilantro. I also added the fried chikuwa, Japanese style fish cake. The cilantro’s tempura is my favorite. It’s unbelievably tasty.

There’s a Korean/Mexican fusion chain in Austin called Chilantro that has the greatest kimchi fries known to man, and I dream about them at least once a week. Haven’t found anything similar in Boston.

i have developed this weird thing where the most random foods will suddenly taste like soap??? and no chilantro is not one of them (thank god) but i will just be eating a meal and suddenly boom soap taste

Theres a small chain in austin called chilantro that makes tacos and bowls chipotle style but with kimchi and bulgogi and the like. Really good stuff. The kimchi nacho fries are killer and their gochujang wings go pretty hard too.

Chilantro needs to bring back quesadillas if for no other reason that no one there has figured out how to roll a burrito to save their life in the chain's decadeish of existence.
