In July 22 I bought ~1500 parquet tiles (~35m2) on eBay (£50). Been stored outside so pretty rough. They filled the landrover. Took tar off with a thicknesser, cut tongue & grooves off with a chopsaw, & sanded edges, now finally laying them. As an example, here’s a raw, a sanded, & a waxoiled tile.

A little insight into turning these. If you're going to turn these I highly recommend preparing them on a chopsaw then a bench sander to get the worst off. Take your skew to it and get it spinning, they're awesome when you get it carved down past the fuzz.
