That's fair! I have a sci-fi chunker paused only because the plot slowed down and the summer hit and I knew I wasn't picking it back up until the winter. Others I won't pick back up until I'm in a better headspace or my library hold comes back around, so since those are long term holds, I didn't --

AWS is updating Bedrock Knowledge Bases connectors. Existing ones keep working, but the useful lesson is to keep RAG ingestion modular—Source → Connector → Parser → Chunker → Embedder—so one provider change doesn't force a full redesign.

They really REALLY know how to pack up a book. It came in two layers of cushioning and was wrapped in paper. Which is already standard for their other books but I was curious to see the state of this chunker since it's a Christmas present.

Same lesson from a small pre-registered experiment of mine: the grammar prior I was excited about slightly hurt, and a dumb regex chunker beat everything. The boring baseline is the whole experiment.

It is! everything from this being an Army helo (marines flew the 1E with way different armament) to an impossible armament scheme (M5 nose chunker can't be co-mounted with M6/M16 M60C side machine guns) was just.. wrong lol.
