Oh, you meant of the racing? 🤣

I'm not going in that part of the site today.

A good cidering apple mght be too little or too bitter or tart to eat in gand, but is amaaazing in a blend of juices. *then* you ferment it, silly.

I bought an Apple watch from somebody on the street.
In hindsight, it's probably a knock off.
For one thing, it only tells time from the perspective of an apple, with notifications for budding, blossoming, blooming, and eventual cidering.

Pro-level cidering.

Ours seem a little tart, but edible for sure. My partner is not a cooked apple fan so all the baked goods will just be for me and friends. And juicing. And cidering. Maybe even grappa if all goes well!

Okay. My second batch of homebrew cider is not cidering enough for me. To be fair this is the second time using this kit, so there are a lot of variables to change up next time. Just, people created cider by doing literally nothing to their fruit beyond pilling it into one place. Grumble grumble wtf

also. @OutcastSpirits are you up for some cidering sometime between May 28 and the June 3? I'm in town!

Yesterday we picked and pressed apples 😁

Today we start the cidering process, which in our case is a stepping stone on the way to applejack.

Most of them were cidering, so we cut up a ton today and made apple sauce, but let me check with my mom when I get home re: how many are left. I pulled about 20 or so that weren’t pocked—or starting to go—that didn’t go into the pot, so hopefully she left them alone!

Cidering season approacheth and I am unprepared

Too sweet for my taste, but could do worse. In a pinch Jazz isn't awful. From farm stands you can sometimes get Nittany down here which isn't bad.

I grew up baking and saucing and cidering primarily Gravenstein and my dad's favorites were Macouns, and Mom's Granny Smith so as a family... bias tart
