Well, it definitely worked. Everyone wanted to be in SOLDIER. And truth be told, I would’ve been if I didn’t fail the psychological test. Physical? I passed with ease.

I think a lot of kids wanted to be Sephiroth. That was the whole point, him and the other first class guys were used as propaganda. They were meant to make you want to join SOLDIER and then probably be a grunt for the rest of your life, just hoping for your big break.

Rebirth's exploration is a lot better, but the minigames were overwhelming and I still hate that weapons and summons are locked to CEs and achievements. Gongaga sucked (except for Cissnei). The annoying exploring and that shitty dungeon burned me out. Cosmo Canyon was a huge drag too.
