every time i see these characters i am more exasperated at how *awful* the color palettes are. i do not know how you can intentionally start with “mid-60s tupperware advertisements” and then add neons and greys all in clashing hues. the garbage robot is the only one with a passable design

makoto in general has so many moments of clashing super hard with the idea that justice must be left to the proper authorities in the game that opens with police beating and drugging a teenager to force a confession

If you liked the music during the game, I recommend listening to the soundtrack version. You will hear new things! Many of the tracks needed a reduced 'dialogue mix' that we cross-fade to during conversations, to avoid clashing. Plus these versions of the tracks have intros and endings!
