Een tijdje terug zat deze Huismierenkever in -jawel- ons huis. Soorten uit de familie mierkevers (Cleridae) leven voornamelijk van de larven van schorskevers en worden dus als nuttig gezien. Ook de Huismierenkever leeft van houtetende boktorren en hun larven. #ElkeDagEenInsect
