Awesome! One of the reasons I didn’t allow custom prompts/scripts for videos at ClipCreator was that I knew the system could be abused.

Recently, I’ve been working on implementing my own safeguards as a prerequisite for that feature - glad to hear they worked for you!

Of course, I couldn’t do it without my man and good friend Claude 3.7 at @cursor_ai, who generated so many useful config and deploy scripts! 😃

Happy to say that ClipCreator videos now render in just 1/3 of the time it took on DigitalOcean - for a fraction of the price! Huge win! 🎉

And in other news… how to spend a Sunday to save a few bucks. 😆

I’m giving Hetzner a try - just deployed my first ClipCreator server there.. first step in migrating from DO

Hetzner: 2 vCPUs/8GB/80GB- $15/m🤑
DigitalOcean: 2 vCPUs/4GB/25GB- $42/m

I can’t stress enough how important it is to analyse your conversion data.

It’s clear that I need to:
1. Improve Ads ROAS
2. Improve Signup → Subscription conversion
3. Somehow get 100k visitors

Overall, it’s a good start, showing that ClipCreator has potential! 💪💪

For years, I’ve been learning from other indie makers, studying their MRR and conversion charts.

Now’s my turn to give back. Honest stats from the first 5 weeks of ClipCreator:

Earned $362 USD, but it cost me $1,617, so I’m $1,255 in the red.

I am running polls on both my LoyalFans and Fansly for which type of video from my video library my fans would like to see posted for FREE for the holidays!

My gift to my good boys and good sluts for the holiday season!

Shipping fast 🚀 is a skill that still eludes me…

Years as a CTO taught me to do things “right” - and now it works against me.. 😠

I spent too much time on ClipCreator, doing premature optimisations. Got fed up with how long it was taking, so I said ‘fuck it’ and pushed it live this week… silently…
