Get to Cloudcroft, stopped by road construction behind a concrete mixer, a semi, and a school bus all in a row, for 15 minutes
Get to Alamogordo, have to use the bathroom, get gas at the cheap place then go to the other side of town for the good toilets

Santa Fe is decent, but if you're looking for something maybe a bit more chill: Cloudcroft. It's in the mountains, near enough to Almagordo that you can go see White Sands and the space museum.

This was actually yesterday on US 82 between Alamogordo and Cloudcroft, NM. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the road to open the eastbound direction.
