今振り返ってみうると、CloudFunctionのv1の性能はやばかったよなぁ。まともにサービスで使える速度じゃない…。v2も早くはないけど、v2はまぁ許せる。

The entire thing can (and has to) run within 1 ms to qualify as CloudFunction, but that is perfectly possible if you simply stop caring about the quality of the output, which... actually doesn't matter! Embedding your Markov Obj-of-Arrays into the code works fine, despite the space constraints.

Here's how to build your own e/slop/acc CloudFunction:
- Start with a cheap-ass deterministic pseudo-rng that deterministically uses a URL path into “random numbers”.
- Feed those into the dumbest possible Markov implementation. (E.g. a JS object with arrays for fields.)
- “Add flourish”
- Done.

The only thing that bothered me about Nepenthes is the terribly complex way it is set up. A Lua-based Docker image including SQLLite? None of that is needed! It's trivial to compose a hypercheap CloudFunction that does precisely this (except for the delay mechanism). If that doesn't scare you...
