A lot of effort at Apple has gone into making them play nicely and unobtrusively with corporate networks, and the management tools (JAMF & friends) are expensive but solid. But the Web-ification of most internal tooling, hyper-competent phones, and biz app cloudification counts for a great deal.

Agree. As an accountant, I have been fighting the "cloudification" of our services for years. Quickbooks no longer offers desktop versions to new users. It's all Quickbooks Online now. Our tax software needs to be local, not cloudbased. They don't "sell" software now, they "lease" it. Such a scam!
