Tbh it was a given, since astraware was doing (and did until the death of palm pdas) ports of all of their games, good ports too! The only way to play insaniquarium deluxe on the go (without emulation haha, they finally got palm os 5 working recently on cloudpilotemu)

I’ve been packing up to move into a new office and while taking my collection to Handspring visors out of a display case, I felt nostalgic to mess around with one again. I found this great Web based emulator, CloudPilotEmu in the App Store. Just wish it integrated with my calendar and contacts.

CloudPilotEmu really makes me wish that the iPhones had even basic support for the Apple Pencil / active styluses. Especially at the Pro Max size, it it starts becoming really practical for stylus use again. X3

The uARM Emulation is going stronger to be getting Palm OS 5 compatible for CloudpilotEmu coming very soon!

yeah. palm os 5.x isnt a meaningful gain vs later 4.x releases from what i see in my tests

i love CloudPilotEmu getting support for 5.x but its just not worth the increased hw requirements imo. especially given 5.x only apps are generally very rare and dont provide a ton of utility

the CloudPilotEmu project got fundamental PalmOS 5.x support by way of the Tungsten E2. This is great to see.

After playing around some, I think it's safe to say using the m515 and PalmOS 4.x is probably the better choice still due to emulation requirements and more apps existing for 4.x.
