The meta progression in Wardogs is like a hyperbolic satire of CoD4 style level ups. It rewards grinding more than any other competitive game I've played. The only way the slogan makes sense is if you were playing Takov when you were 12.
bizarre that the slogan for war dogs is "play like you used to", the people making this game are my age, we weren't playing extraction shooters with 100 players on gigantic maps fighting over tiny objectives

As someone who found CoD4 to be really boring after the first 1 or 2 missions and kind of hates the series on a ontological level, I have to admit MW2 was kind of fun somehow

there was no reason to go for graphic realism past cod4. every game should look like a ps2 game with modern post processing.

COD4s story was more grounded, and was also my introduction to the series. Cod4 is also WAY more quotable to me. The aesthetics of COD4 are unmatched

the secret problem with halo is that it's not that good, but it was definitely the first GOOD console fps and 2 was the 1st good CONSOLE online multiplayer fps. Cod4 had way better everything and Bungie got for their shit way way more together feel wise with destiny
