I ended up stopping the codex session and handing off the task to a third Claude opus 5.5 instance.
I have a reverse engineering project I have been working on. It takes a firmware image and does a bunch of things to it. Today I launched two Claude sessions using opus 5.5 and one codex session with Astra. After 8 hours, Astra had used 42% of my weekly usage and had not made meaningful progress.
