I had to keep the video short but I hope it's simple enough to be useful 🙏 I start with animations to warm up, then build upon that base on the camera I'll use. We're working on a 2D image in a 3D space, no need to be precise as long as it looks good in the final #coeurldit

Small recording of how I (usually) work on expressions. The biggest tip here is to make them exaggerated based on how strong you want to convey the emotion. Working on eyes and eyebrows is the trick - think about emojis! O_O and °_° are different kinds of shock! #coeurldit

#coeurldit as far as I know, there's no cup noodles minions to use as props so I had to jump through some hoops to take this shot: I used this accessory www.xivmodarchive.com/modid/154530, equipped it to the race it's for, then applied an invisible skin mod and exported the mcdf to have just the cup

#coeurldit thought it might be interesting to show my pipeline here: I started posing by using /delighted as a base, adjusted it once I applied the ink mage shader and applied lights for a proper lighting and chromakey, then changed some things up before calling it done. minimal editing in photoshop

#coeurldit I will never stop repeating how lights in brio have been a total gamechanger - high AO shaders do their best with soft spot lights making for interesting shadows!
