One of Dubliners’ favourite artists is Walter Osborne (1859-1903] who trained in mainland Europe. Here’s one of his French pictures. I’d happily steal his work if no one is looking! This is Apple Gathering, Quimperlé (1883) [1]

🧵 This drawing sits beside my collectors bed. She says looking at it makes her feel at peace, which is a lovely compliment! My works are found everywhere. This one is in California but you can find works in New Zealand, Oz, SA, every W Europe country & at the Artic Circle! See why in this thread [1]

This lad lives in the North of Ireland, where he is much loved! I wanted to give him reality & a sense of magic & wonder. I worked with my patron to ensure my vision fitted with how they saw the work. Most ppl commissioning work give me free rein, but I like to make sure they are happy!

What if happiness was a place you carried inside you? 🌸

Woman in a Garden is from my Mindscape series, exploring joy, imagination and growth through colour and pattern.

A woman’s silhouette contains an entire garden.

She isn’t standing in the garden. She is the garden.

🧵 Children see the world differently.

They look closely and ask questions. They haven’t become jaundiced by life!

That curiosity is a powerful source of artistic inspiration. It makes you look at the world with fresh eyes.

For me, making art is about holding on to that way of looking. [1]

What does peace mean when it isn’t just about the world?

I drew this sky-blue dove carrying a flowering bough against a plum-coloured form representing the human body.

For me, it’s about peace in the world, peace within ourselves, and the creative freedom to imagine something better. [1]

🧵Imagine seeing THIS in the Irish rain.

A hoopoe is a rare visitor to Ireland & in our green, rainy land, it looks almost impossibly exotic

I called this one Joyful Hoopoe because some birds seem to arrive carrying their own little burst of wonder. Signed by me & shipped from Dublin

Thread: I drew Ruby Songbird (2026), building its body from intricate patterns, elegant linework and rich colours. The closer you look, the more detail reveals itself.

Thread: I love that moment when daylight begins to fade and the first stars appear.

In this work a curious fox moves quietly amongst the trees and wildflowers. I drew the whole piece by hand in pen and ink, filling the woodland with small details to discover.

Signed original [1]

Thread: September is a transitional time from the warmth of Summer, to the darkness of Winter, in Ireland. The main significance is the daily fall in daylight hours. Even so, the colours of nature blast out & it’s that chromatic beacon that inspires my art, as you can see if you scroll down [1]
