lowkey will never forgive my muscle memory for letting my best lineart be on Colors3D for the nintendo 3DS. does anyone know how to make every art program or brush feel like a fucking 3DS and/or like drawing with a pencil on paper, asking for a friend

Yes! Honestly it was my small stint in colors3d that helped me lay the groundwork for this, even though I didn’t utilize it yet. Being able to physically see the distance between the layers did a lot for my overall perception.

"Welcome to the gun show ladies!"My part of an art trade with @frizzyfox.bsky.social, featuring his oc Tyla, who's gay ass is showing off for the ladies at the beach#art #myart #digitalart #3dsart #colors3D #queerartist #autisticartist #transartist #blackoc #lesbianoc #muscles #musclegirl
A colored digital drawing of a buff woman named Tyla. Said buff woman has long green and gray hair that goes past her shoulders. Tyla's eye color is red. Tyla also has a mole on her cheek. Tyla is also wearing a life guard top, red with a white cross, short enough that it exposes her abs, and a black open jacket over said top. Tyla has black nail polish on. Tyla is flexing her big muscular arms while smiling, she looks perhaps a bit flirtatious. The background is a solid blueish purple, meant to give vibes similar to the ocean, perhaps at night

Did you know
Colors! started off as a homebrew app for Nintendo DS then got an official 3DS release Colors3D
then became Colors Live on Switch/Switch 2

I am not a good artist but It's nice to still have drawings from 2013 on my Switch

Some old OCs I made years ago. Did these drawings on my 3DS. This probably goes back to 2015-2016

どうでもいい情報
たまに上げるデジタルっぽい絵は実は3DSで描いてる だから疑(似)デジタルって呼んでる
ちなみにソフトはColors3D(お絵描き工房も買っときゃ良かったと後悔してる)
スマホじゃちまくて描けんしタブレットもPCも持ってないからの…
最低限のデジタルの機能しかないけどアナログみたいに直感で描けるからいいよ

SAME!
Colors3D was so simple and easy to use, I preferred that even after I got my hands on PhotoShop and ClipStudioPaint.
