CHONKS. BIG BOIS. HEFTY 20'S.

Our chonks are 35mm wide and feel so very good to roll, landing with a nice big thud. This is all the new oversized D20 dice you'll find on Roll Gothica 🩸
Jodie is sitting crossed legged on a fallen log in a forest, text over the image reads "I'm Jodie; & Here's some chonky d20's I've made:" An oversized handmade jesmonite D20 dice; the d20 is black with colourshifting glitter on the high face and black numbers. An oversized handmade jesmonite D20 dice; the d20 is black with green and copper foiling on the high face. So these are paint, not ink?!? Because I know a certain artist who has a birthday coming up and would adore colourshifting paints…

We're talking about @/hi_im_galli now, a fellow alien with a uniquely expressive style who I've come to enjoy A LOT recently.

twitch.tv/hi_im_galli
A moodring alien with a unique series of reactive PNGs to match the vibe, Galli's streams are an eclectic mix of interests that it's a joy to share. I asked streamer; what inspired your colourshifting character? "It's actually a bittersweet story; when I was really young I had an OC of an alien who didn't know how to express her emotions, didn't even know they existed, and she felt so foriegn to everyone around her - she would light up a different color for each of them. Little did I know at the time I was making a personification of myself at that age; not feeling I truly belonged 'cause I didn't understand what all these emotions were, and the only way I could express them was through colors. I kept this persona for years until my late teens, but when I started streaming, I wanted to pay homage to that starry eyed alien all those years ago."

I may need (totally need) a tutorial to sketch a simple dragon, but I will be damned if that colour shifting watercolour isn't upgrading that all by itself. 🤣 I have stupid fun doing this. Thank you @kbspangler.com for showing me those colours.

A sketch of a unicorn dragon with an exe shaped snout, golden eyes, and purple scale tips, everything else still pencil same sketch of the unicorn dragon, now with more color, red and pink around the eyes, teal scale tips on the neck, and the horn is now painted in stripes of colour shifting watercolor, as is the neck.

Be informed that I found an etsy shop with affordable delivery to Austria and may have bought three half pans of colourshifting watercolour.

Brace for incoming bad art. I mean. Brace slowly. Because it will take a while before I get anything done.

I've never seen Wicked (musical or movies) but their licensed merch included purple/green colourshifting glow in the dark press on nails that are marked down and these are now unofficially my signature colour.

On the last day of August, I attended the VR live event #shaft_linc vol.1 (Day 2) to watch four performances by interesting virtual artists in a virtual world with amazing virtual elements. Glad that I was able to attend, it was fun! たのしかったです！

StrollZ on stage of shaft linc vol.1【DAY2】 @StrollZ_vr (on Twitter/X) | Five members are on stage, some have their instruments visible (like the saxophone and the keyboard, but also the guitar, although it should be a bass). やまみー (Yamamii) on stage of shaft linc vol.1【DAY2】 @Vakovakooctopus (on Twitter/X) | purple light, white bubbles surround the musician while he holds his arms wide. He wears a black hat with kitsune mask, a purple and black/dark purple striped shirt and unique earrings—one shaped like a light bulb and the other like a plug. Sifneos. on stage of shaft linc vol.1【DAY2】 @SifneosOfficial (on Twitter/X)| purple light, colourshifting blocks and triangles (purple, blue) surrounded the two members of Sifneos., who are dressed in white and black. Alternoise on stage of shaft linc vol.1【DAY2】 @Alternoise_VRB (on Twitter/X) | Three band members on stage performing in a blue light. A couple of extra shots, had to get the kids out for a family photo.

A close up of a tyranid tervigon on a grey cutting mat. It's eyes are glowing green. The limbs blend from purple to blue at the extremities. The carapace is painted with a metallic colourshifting paint changing from a deep purple to a bright teal. The tervigon's birthsac has yellow globules and a termagant erupting from the front. The spikes and claws are painted a deep red that turn to black. The base are rocky with little tufts of dead grass and bushes. The earth looks like old rust. The mini is looking left. The same tervigon but surrounded by termagants. They are painted in the same scheme.

Been going my nerd shit.

Must have bought these termagants off eBay about ten years ago in a cheap job lot. I've used them to practice my colour scheme for my Leviathan box set.

Went for iridescent bug like shells for the carapace. The photos don't do the colourshift justice.

Here's a little preview of the 30mm chonk d20s that'll be available in my shop restock this weekend (Sat 8th Feb at 6pm GMT).

A composite photo of multiple d20s. One has a rainbow bismuth design. Two are mountain landscapes one with a stained glass effect to it and one with a colourshifting effect. Another d20 is a little garden scene with succulent plants and butterflies. And the last two d20s are inspired by the Magnus Archives entity "the eye" and have multiple googly eyes that stare out at you.

This is another Mohawk Bear Clan painting I did this week. It's also metallic with a colourshifting bear silhouette. The Hiawatha wampum belt symbol & the traditional skydome border pattern are iridescent & glow in the dark.
The bear is actually Amethyst purple but it looks silver in certain light.
