🔥 In the Belgorod region, BPS STRIX operators carried out a very good series of strikes on enemy columns and basing points.

Pedant’s? Pedants’? Pedantry.

Private Eye is 65. To celebrate, we’re taking a peek behind the curtain to explain where some of the Eye’s lore, columns, and in-jokes originate from.

At the end of every year, I make a list of the worst columns. Some of these ghouls make it *very* easy.

like he gets there eventually, after almost 30 seconds of blather that are, on the face, unrelated to his actual question. still thinking in forms of newspaper columns, i guess.

Eh, "sitting Senator's blatant corruption" is mildly interesting. Do you know what's REALLY a story? A Black academic accused of plagiarism by a freaky racist! That's the kind of sincere, important journalism that requires a story plus a column every day, and sometimes several stories and columns.
People are saying "how come the new rape allegations against trump didn't merit this kind of coverage" which is totally fair, but I'm also like- what about the susan collins bribery scandal? That is a million billion times worse than this! She was basically caught red-handed!

This is what happens when you spend ~20 years writing for an Op-Ed page that doesn't fact check your columns.
Bari Weiss's resident hack Ross Douthat made a complete fool of himself on 60 Minutes, trying to claim the Saudi lobby has the same grip on Washington as AIPAC. Abdul El-Sayed immediately crushed him: 'AIPAC spent $33 million against me alone! Name another lobby doing that.' It has to make sense!🗳️🌊
