Had an amazing time at #NHRL tonight, spectating some crazy combat robotics. Great showing from CALDERA and the other winners, and good luck next time to everyone else!

flippin' heck worked reasonably well but lost due to a sticky wheel that i didn't discover the cause of until too late in the day. fixed for next time (it's a pair of screws that should have been countersunk but weren't and the heads rubbed against the wheel) […]

transfems have an unfair advantage in #combatrobotics fabrication because we're more likely to have a box of syringes nearby and those are very convenient for casting urethane tires
