The site is fully static, meaning I no longer need a database or php! My backend is code instead of a UI but a small sacrifice.
I originally moved from WP to ComiControl, but since CC is no longer maintained, inevitable PHP upgrades would likely break it. For security reasons too, I wanted off php.

I added features that I missed from ComiControl such as...
A FULL thumbnail archive!!
With options for Cover-list (originally included), Webtoon style, and text only (because I got really into it).

If you saw my ComiControl site, the Cast page isn’t that different, just update bios. But it’s much improved on my old WP site!
And yes! Made sure everything was responsive friendly.

Orly? 👀 Noted!
I also feel the Grawlix pain, I never got it to work, but ComiControl worked in a similarly, a php upgrade will eventually break it.
Only feature I didn’t add was a blog since most use comic posts for announcements.
Being free of a database/php is a huge deal imo. Lots to consider!
