the motivation for this is i want to write cross-platform common lisp application and the currently existing binding are either for libraries i don't like or have rather unix specific build processes. but rust builds everywhere sooooo

eh, I think Haskell admits programming-by-discovery more than that
but part of the dream of affordances-and-DSLs is the whole "write your whole program in the REPL" tale that I've heard about re: lisp, and Haskell is not that. (I've dabbled in common lisp and scheme and never found it, though)

I wrote pong in common lisp. I think this is a great example of a language that lends itself very well to compilers and interpreters, but sucks to write on its own.
