The Revolution Will Be In Compliance With Local Noise Ordinances To Avoid Traumatizing The Community
Ugh. The main anti-ICE group in Washington which has 44k followers on Facebook and has been going around to communities promoting classes is now promoting this anti-whistle nonsense for "harm reduction" reasons as well.

ICE/CBP want to terrify people into submission and compliance so that they can operate with impunity, unimpeded, in semi-secrecy. It is not working. In every urban center these masked goons descend upon, the local community is rallying in solidarity.

Establishment Dems need to realize no amount of compliance or appeals to this administration's better angels will work. They will still come after you. At least make them do it for actually doing something to protect your community.

Among the appalling 'compliance in advance' is the business community pretending it's normal for economic policy to be a game show with sudden arbitrary twists. Will he or won't he? So exciting! Very savvy, definitely not a demented old man getting revenge on everyone by toying with livelihoods.
LOL -- White House econ adviser Kevin Hassett admits on Fox News Sunday that on tariffs "I can't give you any forward-looking guidance on what's gonna happen this week. The president has got a heck of a lot of analysis before him, and he's gonna make the right choice I'm sure."

We're now living in a retirement community dictatorship. Trump's making war from his Florida vacation home absent compliance with the Constitution or an effort explain his war of choice to the American people. Trump may pay a huge political price for such an illegal, and casual, use of our military.
Kaine on Fox: "The president can act to defend US against imminent attack without congressional approval. But if you're going to initiate war, you need Congress. The president not only did not come to Congress, he acted without even notification to the vast majority of us. This is an illegal war."

So, the people who screamed "Fuck your feelings!" at us and called us libtards for almost ten years are now wondering why their cries of "The election is over. We all need to come together, now!" are being met with derision and excommunication.

They don't want community, they want compliance.

I’m tired of the phrase, “they should have just complied.” For one, the term ‘comply,’ has connotations and a long rooted history in racism and subjugation. Compliance is a term historically used to define one’s place. In society, humanity, community. Obey, and it’s all good. Don’t…

7. Those who genuinely support the transgender community must resist, not capitulate, to Trump’s executive overreach. History will remember this moment, and those in positions of influence must decide whether they will stand in opposition to tyranny or enable it through silence and compliance.

My latest piece, written for the Kettering Foundation.

I urge organizations, nonprofits, and companies to end the cycle of over compliance with Trump threats, and show how doing so ushers in fascism.

Some lessons from what we have seen in the trans community.

saw someone blaming this on the left
complaining about groceries too much and i once again invite the global community to sock party this country into compliance
Don’t let them distract you. Trump promised lower costs – we just saw the highest grocery inflation in years.

He doesn’t care about your costs.

To my trans community in Arizona, stay strong my sisters and brothers. We keep fighting and this too shall pass. Planned Parenthood is playing a dangerous compliance game here. Next up it’s going to be abortions. 🩵🩷🤍

If you can unionize, do it. If you have a union you can join, do it. Then how else in your community can you participate in a group movement to weaponize your compliance?
AUTHORITARIAN KRYPTONITE IS NONCOMPLIANCE

the only thing they have is people choosing to go along with the ruse.

The minute alllllll the people busy propping up the evil say: Nah, not today, they are out of business.

Decide how you’re gonna help gum up the works of harm.
Even if he does it is worth resisting! I find all the talk of whether Trump’s power is legitimate baffling, honestly. He’s a straightforward authoritarian! The main reason to push back is all of the stuff he is going to do, not how his vote total stacks up to previous presidents.

At last! Though the hunting community isn’t known for its universal compliance with the law.

this was not malicious compliance. it was ideological incompetence.

“[Dylan Taylor] read the law, took it at face value, & started writing code.

He saw a legal requirement the way he saw a technical specification, & implemented whatever the spec says regardless of who wrote the spec or why.”

In an autocracy, the greatest superpower is saying, “no.” We outnumber them. Autocrats rely on constant effort to maintain control, and making them enforce compliance drains their power. Use your $$$, your conversations, and your community to highlight broken promises and build resistance together.

Community sentiment > individual sentiment
Community sentiment shouldn't lead to individual enforcement
Community guidelines should be clear

Goes the regulatory compliance route but a sovereign community can adopt this practice themselves.

This is close to what Blacksky's People's Assembly is for.
Online communities are shaped not only by rules and enforcement, but by the emotional climates that develop within them, writes Taylor Moore. She proposes a ‘Collective Sentiment Policy Model’ that treats community-level emotional patterns as a legitimate and governable object of policy.
A New Policy Framework for Governing Collective Sentiment in Online Communities
Online communities are shaped not only by rules and enforcement, but by the emotional climates that develop within them, writes Taylor Moore.
