To be clear on how successful this policy was, this year, 5-8plex housing in existing neighbourhoods was the largest source of new housing in Edmonton at 22% of homes. The provincial government is torpedoing opportunity for young people and forcing long commutes on them.

This is also utilitarian. No special parts, no unusual mechanics to figure out. Just a couple extra parts that don't get in the way. Wiring is simple and taking the rear wheel off is simple.

I've started driving more slowly on my commutes. 68 instead of 74 on the interstate. I hate it, because I just want to get there, but my gas mileage has significantly improved. So I guess I'll keep doing it, since gas keeps going up.
