Happy to see cons diversifying and playing to different congoer demographics. The subculture is so big now that cons can determine their general size by capping attendance. I think it’s a good thing. Also hooray for more 21+

This is a powerful message from a first-time congoer who only discovered why GSFTW was weird after going. I think it makes a good point: everyone wants to assume goodwill in fandom. Unfortunately, bad actors make us have to do some due diligence before joining anything.
