Once or twice a year, I check to see whether mathematicians have decided to accept Mochizuki's proof of the abc conjecture. It's been nearly 15 years, and the answer is still "no".

I’m long on photonics. Definitely a shorter return on investment than quantum; and I conjecture a possible path to room temp quantum when we make advances in photonic compute.
This is such a wild generational leap in gpu technology that I've barely heard of. Founder was at an event last night and they got units in data centers.

There is some conjecture that the plot was a false flag operation to frame Catholics as the villains and allow more persecution. A conspiracy about a conspiracy.
